We are finally realizing there is a definite need to be more proactive in preventing health problems. One of the best approaches to better health is eating more raw fruits and vegetables and supplementing the diet with quality vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Vitamin "O" - life-giving oxygen - is perhaps one of the most important of these dietary nutrients for the body.

It has only been in the last 10-15 years that research chemists, biologists, physicians and nutritionists have publicly acknowledged the critical importance of oxygen to a healthy body and to healthy cell metabolism. Today, we are susceptible to more drug-resistant illnesses and diseases than ever before. In fact, the media has dubbed the end of this century as the era of "super bugs" that will not respond to our most potent "silver bullets". Many believe that this is because we have longer life-spans and so experience more sickness in later years.

Everybody gets sick eventually. Here's why. In the process of creating all these conveniences and marketplace choices, we have made a lot of bad choices and let our daily air and water become polluted, and this pollution has increasingly been collecting inside us. Also, our mass-produced processed foods are grown on mega-farm soils that are de-mineralized and also lacking natural oxygen. These two major conditions are chronically hampering our ability to get and absorb enough fresh oxygen inside us at the cellular level. This chronic low oxygen condition that we all have causes our cellular oxygen levels to drop so our blood becomes more and more polluted.

Dirty blood sets the stage for all the diseases. Because we all have this condition, our health officials tell us it is 'normal' to have dark brown-purplish blood. Is it 'normal' that so many are sick? The increasing rates of viral infections and cancers are not by coincidence. The proof of this can easily be seen by looking at your own blood with specialized darkfield microscopes. You will be amazed what you find there.

Our too-low cell oxygen levels encourage toxic buildups and the growth of anaerobic (can't live in active oxygen) microbes such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and other pathogens inside us and inside our animals and pets, and in our plants. Oxygen benefits during exercise

The human body must have oxygen to convert fuel (the carbohydrates, fats, and proteins in our diet) into heat, energy, and life. The conversion of body fuels is known as 'metabolism'.

The rate of metabolism, which determines the need for and consumption of oxygen, depends on the degree of physical activity of the individual. Not all people require the same amount of oxygen. A man walking at a brisk pace will consume about four times as much oxygen as he will while sitting quietly. Under severe exertion or stress, he could possibly be consuming eight times as much as when resting.

There is scientific evidence that states the earth’s atmosphere contained in excess of 40% oxygen 10,000 years ago. Today we have approximately 20% concentration and in many major cities the level is reduced to less than 9% due to contamination. In order to saturate our bodies we need 26% to the bottom of our lungs. The only way to do this is through the use of concentrated oxygen.
